He was born Arnold Flores Mercado to Alfredo Tulio Mercado (1941-2011) and Amelia Flores Mercado (b.1939). The sixth child of eleven in the family, the eldest being Angelito (deceased right after birth) and the youngest, Anna Liza (b.1971). He left this world after losing his battle to terminal stage four Glioblastoma, the most aggressive type of brain cancer cells on November 23, 2020 and was outlived by his mother, four elder siblings, four younger siblings as one of them, Archie (1969-1970), the ninth child, died as an infant, six nephews and six nieces. Having not been married, he stood up and was a very loving father figure to his niece, Keisha Arielle Mercado (b.1991). The two were really close and inseparable. She mourned his untimely departure, being 29 at the time of his death. He was a loving son to Amelia, he was always there for her, always made sure she was alright. He was a very caring brother to his siblings, he wanted them to love each other. And he was a very good uncle to his nephews and nieces. And he was a very reliable friend. He left this world as a good man, a righteous man that GOD loves.
